The Diamond City We grew up in Surat, India—a city known worldwide as the "Diamond City." What many people don't realize is that more than 90% of all diamonds in the world, both natural and lab-grown, are cut and polished right here. Even the finest jewelry sold in luxury boutiques across the world often starts in our hometown.
Building OrnaMystic Seeing this firsthand inspired us. Two years ago, my elder brother Mayur and I (Sahil) founded OrnaMystic to take our family legacy to the next level. Instead of watching these beautiful stones go through dozens of middlemen, we wanted to design and create fine jewelry right where the diamonds are cut and perfected.
We started by serving clients in India, and soon expanded to welcome customers across the world.
